Problems when re-launching program

Hi! I am experiencing issues downloading stories after the program closes and re-opens. The following error appears:



The Check and Check & Download buttons are grayed out afterwards.

It works fine perfectly after the program is removed and reinstalled again. But I need to do this after each time for any of the fanfic sites and no matter which version I had tried.

Also, I noticed that the Exit option is grayed out under Menu, is this correct? This has never been available, even on the initial install.

I am using Windows Vista on PC, wired connection, DSL and version 0.6.3 of Fanfiction Downloader at the moment.

Please advise.

Hi,

There must be a problem with the story for this message to appear. Please send me the storylink or post it here.

That the "Check button" isn't enabled afterwards is a bug, I'll fix it with the next version.

The disabled Exit option is also ok, never got the time to write the single line to enable it.

The story itself is fine; Fanfiction Downloader was able to download it after the program was removed and reinstalled on my PC. Its link is as follows if you still want to check:

Once the program closes, I need to do a reinstall for it to function again. I haven't tried it on other PC, not sure the bug is related to Windows Vista. If you're able to tackle this further, I would appreciate it. Otherwise, it's no biggie, I'll wait for the next release, hopefully it will be resolved then. Let me know if you need additional info. I was able to test the software on another PC and it works perfectly there even after closing/re-launching it. There must be a bug on my first machine, I'll do some more testing and advise if I find anything. Thanks!

I also have the same problem... I don't know what to do! I've even tried downloading the stories that I've downloaded to see if it's only the story that has a problem. However, it can't download anything! Can someone help?

sbcal: There'S no logical reason why you have to reinstall it on your computer. Did you find the problem?

ishi-jan: Are you using the newest version? (actual that's 0.6.7)
