Archive of Our Own
About the issue with Archive of Our Own and adult stories, I think it's tied to a cookie you accept. Maybe have ffdl make or use a cookie for that site? Not that it's a high priority--AO3 has a decent download system. I just delete the afterword in Sigil and run it through Calibre to fix the paragra...
Re: iPad2
I'm pretty sure Amazon has a kindle app for iPad, so you could use the file type for Kindle. I think it's MOBI. If you look around, there's probably a number of reader apps for iPad, so you just use the format recommended by the app's author.
Hope that's of some help.

Re: Extra code in downloads over the last few days
What about the extra code? ff.net just added a social networking share type thing, which is what the OP is referring to. I'm seeing it on stories I download and I'm using the latest test version (with auto-paste, etc.).

Re: author part not working
In ver 0.3.0, I noticed that how the program put the author's name in the filename has changed. The writer has a period in her name, but the period no longer shows up in the filename. The name is shown properly on the summary page. link: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6768903/1/ Thanks for your hard wo...

I can't really say--I rarely go there, but I suspect it's every story.

Re: Multiple Chapters?
If you use one of the dedicated ebook formats, it automatically generates a table of contents. At the very least, this is true of EPUB files. This is probably true for the other ebook filetypes, but don't quote me on it. In addition, I think calibre remembers where you are if you're reading a file. ...

Re: adultfanfiction problems
The alternate version of the EXE you posted in another thread fixed the question marks, etc. That's the good news. The bad news is how adultfanfiction creates the stories makes the final EPUB formatting a royal mess. Fanfiction.net uses <p> tags for paragraphing. Adultfanfiction.net uses <br /> tags...

Story no longer on server
Could you have the software state that a story is no longer available when giving it a link that no longer works? Right now it just shows a bit of html in the author field when you try and download. I had to go to the link in firefox to see the author withdrew the story. example: http://www.fanficti...
